More than 100 schools have been made safer thanks to the expertise of Stoke-on-Trent company Security Services.
Now a growth in the Academy school sector is opening up new contracts for the expanding Security Services team.
Security Services has been supplying state-of-the-art security devices to schools across the Midlands since the 1980s.
The experienced Security Services team are able to supply, install and maintain a full range of traditional and hi-tech equipment.
Managing Director Adrian McLaughlin said: “We are pleased to work with many schools and it is a growth market due to the number of schools which are now converting to academy status.
Academy schools are free to make their own financial and spending decisions as they are not tied to a Local Education Authority.
Security Services has recently begun working with the new Haywood Sixth Form Centre, Burslem, having had a longstanding relationship with the Haywood Academy (formerly Haywood High School).
Paula Ferguson, Senior Assistant Head Teacher, said: “For over 25 years, Security Services have installed and maintained the Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, Data and Fire Alarm systems at our School and more recently Sixth Form Centre. The team provide effective support, and continue to maintain both systems in an efficient and thoroughly competent manner.”
Security Services works with schools from small primaries and infants to large secondary schools. In Stoke-on-Trent, these include the Excel Academy, Ormiston Horizon and the Crescent Academy.
