Growth by design sees Graphix celebrate 25 years in business with an optimistic outlook

Stephen Ward

Brothers Stephen and Simon Ward are celebrating the 25th anniversary of Graphix, their full-service design agency.
The brothers began Graphix on the kitchen table at their parents’ Stoke-on-Trent home and have masterminded growth which has seen the company work with household names such as bet365 and Help for Heroes. Millions of football supporters will have seen Graphix’ work featured on a huge scale on the front of Stoke City’s bet365 Stadium.
The Norton-based business has shown year on year growth, with funds repeatedly being reinvested in new state of the art equipment and in the Graphix team.
“I guess a key to our success is a refusal to stand still,” said Stephen. “We had ambitions to create a full-service agency with the capability to create high quality design and then give our customers the finished product, whether that be a new brand, website, vehicle graphics or signage.”
This has been demonstrated in a major investment programme over the past three years with Graphix spending around £300,000 on new printing presses.
Added Stephen: “We are a growing business and the level of equipment that we have allows us to complete large format print work to a very high standard. “We have also grown our team, investing in talented senior level designers, managers and sign fitters.”
“Major clients include Stoke City, as we provide all branding at both the bet365 Stadium and the club’s Clayton Woods training complex. Others include Novus, Help for Heroes, One Sure and Butters John Bee, but we have also always kept a keen eye on the small business owners and take pride in providing business cards for customers who have been with us since our early days.
“We have an amazing team who all work hard together and go the extra mile to create fantastic branding with great passion.”
