High speed Broadband boost for Wrexham companies

Companies on the Wrexham Industrial Estate can benefit from high speed broadband for the first time.

Wrexham based Keycom is providing a service on the estate which houses around 300 companies employing more than 7,000 people.

An event is being hosted by Keycom on Tuesday, July 8 at the industrial estate’s Redwither Tower. Keycom staff will be available between 9am and 1pm to answer questions from companies.

Claire Hughes of Keycom said: “We can provide speeds on the Wrexham Industrial Estate from 10 to 50 Mbps and 24/7 support from our dedicated call centre. Our wireless broadband offers start from £50 a month

“Many companies on the Wrexham Industrial Estate may have struggled to get fast, reliable broadband services until now and good connectivity can give them a competitive edge.”

The average UK  broadband speed is 17.8 Mbps (megabits per second).

The Wrexham Industrial Estate covers an area of 550 hectares and is the largest industrial estate in Wales. Companies on the estate include Kellogg’s, JCB and Calypso Soft Drinks.
