Leading business school turns to Keycom for IT training solution

A world renowned business school turned to Keycom for help when it came to training their own staff.

Keycom’s IT training team, based in Wrexham, have worked with more than 100 staff at the Ashridge Business School, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, having been chosen to provide training services.

Ashridge is ranked as one of the world’s top 20 business schools by Bloomberg Business Week and the Financial Times for its custom education.

Philippa Watts, Keycom’s Director of Training Services, said: “We were able to develop a package specifically tailored to their needs.

“This involved a range of solutions as some staff required training workshops and others support at their desks as they worked. In addition, all staff at Ashridge will get free telephone and email support from Keycom for as long as they need it.”

“Specific outcomes included the transfer for all staff from the Lotus Notes software messaging system to Microsoft Outlook. This allows Ashridge Business School to utilise the latest Microsoft Lync instant messaging software.”

Philippa added: “It was fantastic to be able to work with Ashridge, particularly given the school’s first class reputation for the quality of its business education.

“We believe that providing a flexible solution to clients is important. Our training modules can be completed in many different ways, mixing and matching short courses with training over several days and desk side support.”

Matt Woodland, IT Operations Manager at Ashridge, added: “The whole training operation ran smoothly and efficiently, helping all of us to make the transition with relative ease. The end result is that we now have a vastly improved email system that has enhanced the organisation’s communications capability.”
