Petr Czechs out Leek’s successful business breakfast recipe

A Czech businessman visited Leek to see how Business for Breakfast’s most successful referral marketing group generates record business levels.

More than £660,000 in business referrals have been passed at BforB Leek in 2013 –  more than any other group in the nationwide BforB network. The group meets fortnightly on Thursday mornings.

And with the Staffordshire based BforB network extending into Europe, Czech businessman Petr Gogolin visited the breakfast meeting at the Retreat, Leek, to see how members worked together.

Stuart Walton; the Stafford based MD of BforBUK, said: “BforB Leek is an excellent example of how businesses can grow through cooperation. Members have formed strong bonds and the trust that has been developed has led to collaborative working and business referrals to trusted contacts outside of the BforB group.

“The BforB model has now been exported to the Czech Republic. When Petr wanted to come to see BforB in action in the UK, I had no hesitation in arranging a visit to our Leek group.”

Petr, an on-line marketing expert with his own company, Kurzor, at the age of 26, is a member of BforB in Brno, the Czech Republic’s second largest city. He said: “BforB meetings are very similar in format whether in Czech or England but it was great to see how the Leek group has grown, friendships have been formed, and how everyone is working hard for each other.”
