Rydale Roofing develops new training suite

North Staffordshire based Rydale Roofing has revamped its head office to provide state of the art training facilities.
The company has invested £43.000 on a refurbishment programme which included the installation of a mezzanine floor and the creation of a training suite at their base on the Silverdale Enterprise Park.
Rydale Roofing has developed training programmes for all staff and the new facilities are used regularly by the company.
And the company is making the facilities available to other North Staffordshire businesses.
Julie Mirowski, a Director of Rydale Roofing, said: “We have a commitment to staff training and work hard to ensure our roofers and office staff are up to speed with changing industry standards.
“We have held sessions on subjects such as health and safety and invited in other companies in the area.
“There’s space for large workshops and we recently held a PR workshop for finalists of the Newcastle-under-Lyme Business Boost awards, hosted by Nigel Howle of Howle Communications. Attendees included the Food Safety Company, Jigsaw School Apps, Weal Ales, the Alice Charity and the Gold Disc company.
“There is a shortage of training rooms available to business in the area and we are happy to hire out the room at a very competitive rate.”
Rydale Roofing has developed a reputation for staff development and training and is one of only a few firms in the Midlands to have developed a full sized “training roof” to allow workers to hone their skills.
Julie Mirowski and Nigel Howle are among local business people who give their time for free to run the annual Business Boost awards.
The company is based at Arlington Court, Silverdale Enterprise Park, ST5 6SS.

Notes to Editors:
Rydale Roofing was launched after Mick, a former miner, lost his job during the pit closure programme in the early 1990s.
The company takes on any size of roofing work from a small leak in an individual home to major contracts and sub-contracts.
The company recently branched out into the solar energy section, supplying and fitting photo voltaic panels on both homes and larger buildings.
