Inspired celebrate a decade of growth and innovation

inspiredlogoInspired Film and Video is celebrating a decade of growth and innovation which has seen the company gain a major domestic and international reputation.

Films by Stoke based Inspired now feature on television across the globe and the company has helped to promote their home city through a series of award winning documentaries.

Inspired’s work for business, charities and in the sporting arena has seen the business expand every year since 2006.

Formed by post graduate film students at Staffordshire University, Inspired Film and Video has developed an international reputation for their work in both corporate and documentary film making.

“Film making has changed massively since Inspired’s early days and we have embraced the changes and used them to promote growth,” said Director Mike McDonald.

“Back in 2006, the films we made would have been produced on DVD and distributed to a very limited audience.

“Now, film makers can embrace the internet, Facebook channels and You Tube to promote their clients to huge audiences.”

In 2016, Inspired works with major international names in business and sport and has embraced new technology to make a mark on the 360-degree video revolution.

And a prestigious contract with Danish TV sees Inspired produce material on the English Premier League for Denmark’s equivalent of Match of the Day.

“We have also had content on TV in countries including Italy, Japan and Australia and have gained a long term working relationship with prestigious corporate clients,” added Mike.

Inspired Film and Video began life at the Staffordshire University Business Village, Leek Road, Stoke.

The business has grown through three office moves and Inspired is now based on the ground floor of Federation House, Station Road, Stoke.

Mike added: “We have a seven-strong team and are also proud of our reputation as employers as we have taken on a new graduate from film courses each year since 2012.

“The company has seen growth on the balance sheet every year and we are on course for 10 to 15 per cent growth in the current year.”
