UK Business IT Ltd caps a year of success by doubling its office space

Mark Swann

Doubling its office space has capped a year of growth for Stoke-on-Trent based UK Business IT Ltd.
The eight-year-old firm has added four new staff in recent months and a move to a spacious new office in the well-equipped Cauldon Locks development, Etruria, has given UK Business IT space for further growth,
“We were bursting at the seams and needed bigger offices,” explained Managing Director, Mark Swann. “This s the most significant move we have made as growth has allowed us to invest with renewed confidence. We took on an empty shell of an office and equipped it to a high specification, investing over £50,000. The office has a high-speed IT network, equipment such as multi-functional white boards and TV monitors, and a high-quality work environment for our growing staff.”
Mark added that the location, just a few moments off the A500, was also important in the choice of office locations. “We provide a quick response emergency call out area within an hour’s drive time of our office and this covers around 12 million people from Warrington to Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury to Loughborough. The potential is there to be seen and we are targeting further growth of 20 per cent this year.”
New branding across the office and UK Business IT’s vehicle fleet has given the company a fresh, updated image. The company kept the work in the local area working with More Than Just Design, Keele, and Graphix, Norton.
UK Business IT Ltd was founded in 2010 by experienced IT specialists Mark Swann, Ian Gloyne and David Sleight. The company provides business to business IT services to companies from one computer user to the corporate or public sector.
Support packages range from complete outsourced IT services to smaller packages, including support to in-house company IT teams.
Added Mark: “Investment in our new office investment is among key strategies for our success as we recognise that the company grows by having a highly trained, expert team who can help across all IT support needs and are adaptable to meet our customers’ needs.”
