New website reflects a year of development for financial expert John Capper

Finance expert John Capper has reinvented his online presence following a year of development that has seen the former accountancy firm owner help to launch new business ventures and build a portfolio of directorships and clients.

John, of Barlaston, works with companies and charities across the UK and is a Director of companies including Meta Additive, of Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, a pioneering 3D printing company. He was asked to join the company Board after working with them to secure a £1.2 million Innovate UK SMART grant.

Now John has developed a new website with support from web designer,  the Capture Factory and content creators Howle Communications, of Stoke-on-Trent. The website can be seen here – www.johncapper.co.uk.

John explained: “There’s been many developments since I set up John Capper & Co around 11 years ago and my new website reflects that.  I have taken on several directorships all with a sharp financial focus and I am available to support companies who need a part time Finance Director. My new website reflects that financial focus and gives companies who need support an insight into how I could help.”

He also contributes greatly to the health of the third sector in Staffordshire as a long-standing Board member at the Kibblestone International Scout Camp and a member of the Audit Committee at Aspire Housing.

John also serves as President of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) for Staffordshire, Shropshire and Wolverhampton.

Further clients include SAS Water Ltd, Leek, where John supports Managing Director Lizzie Ward with regular financial insights.

Lizzie said: “With John’s support I feel empowered and confident that I have my finger on the financial pulse of the business. His ability to plan financial strategies and to pinpoint opportunities for growth is invaluable to our business.”

John has over 30 years of experience of leading teams at Board level. Originally from Longton, John rose through the accountancy ranks industry to lead 450 staff, across 12 offices, in RSM Bentley Jennison’s Audit, Tax and Advisory Services Division.

He’s well known locally and was the founding President of the Moorlands Chamber of Commerce, before relocating from Cheddleton to Barlaston. John also plays an international role in the accountancy sector as Exdecutive Director of EGIAN, the representative group for 17 of the International Accounting Networks and Associations, recognised as the body that represents mid-tier International Accounting Associations and Networks within the European Union.
