A North Staffordshire hearing care firm has had a new website developed to spotlight the companies independence and ability to select the best available hearing solutions from across the market.

Ridgways Hearing Care works with a range of hearing aid suppliers to ensure customers get the best choice of equipment available.

Uniquely, the company has just four hearing solution packages, making choice simple and transparent for customers visiting its hearing centres at Newcastle and Endon.

Now a new website has been developed to reflect the company’s independence and to bring clarity to anyone following the business online.

The site has been developed with marketing company Graphix, of Norton, and Howle Communications, a Packmoor-based PR and copywriting firm. Photography was supplied by Cathy Bower, of Leek.

Director Alison Ridgway said: “Much has changed since our initial website was developed in 2012. It was built on a model supplied from one hearing aid supplier, when we actually source the best available products across the whole of the market.

“The new website is attractively designed and easy to use and it reflects our clear, customer service values. We base our pricing on technology levels, rather than individual prices from the hearing aid companies and there are just four pricing bands.

“Customers choose a package and know that it is all inclusive and backed by a four year guarantee. That price includes all wax removal, all hearing aid fitting costs, cleaning materials and after care. People know exactly where they stand for four years. It also gives information on our staff and has news on hearing care.

“I was also pleased to get the web design, graphic design and content from local companies, Howle Communications and Graphix, who often work together and they brought in a local photographer, Cathy Bower. It is good to be able to support North Staffordshire businesses where possible.”

The companies have also worked together on marketing material for Ridgways Hearing Care and Graphix completed signage design at Ridgways’ Endon centre.

The website can be viewed at www.ridgwayshearingcare.com

Alison has been an audiologist for more than 30 years and founded Ridgway’s Hearing Care in 2012, having previously successfully run and then sold a previous hearing centre business. Her eight strong team work from hearing centres at Marsh Parade, Newcastle, and Station Road, Endon, The Endon surgery was opened in 2020, as Alison wanted to create additional space, so that services could run with social-distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
