Howle Communications was honoured to work on PR with the Find A Better Way team at the global Soccerex exhibition held at Manchester Central.
Sir Bobby Charlton, football icon and founder of the Find A Better Way charity, officially opened the event and welcomed delegates from around the globe to the business of football event.
He was joined at the event by fellow footballing legends including Carlos Alberto, Ossie Ardiles and Gianfranco Zola and Olympic superstar, Michael Johnson.
But, the stellar line-up was only part of the story. The seminars and talks ran alongside exhibitors involved in the sports economy, from football agents to astroturf manufacturers.
As always, Sir Bobby was in demand from the media and Howle Communications helped to arrange interviews with a variety of journalists representing organisations such as Sky Sports and the Press Association.
We are proud to work with Sir Bobby’s charity, Find A Better Way and have grown to share a passion for its cause – to rid the world of landmines.
Achievements in recent months includes helping with a major overhaul of the charity website including working with fellow Stoke-on-Trent company Inspired Film and Video on new films for the website and the charity’s corporate supporters.
We have also seen prominent coverage in the Sunday Times, The Times and on BBC 5 Live radio.
