Real ale brewed just yards from Vale Park will be on sale at Port Vale Football Club this season.
Burslem based Titanic Brewery has pumped money into its local Football League club by taking out pitch side advertising at Vale Park.
And the sponsorship deal offers Titanic the chance to sell their award winning cask and bottled beer at the ground – situated just a long goal kick away from the Stoke-on-Trent brewery.
Titanic’s Steerage bitter is now available on handpumps in the club’s main bar and the football club is also stocking a range of Titanic’s bottled beers which will also be available in Vale Park’s executive boxes.
Bottles of Titanic are also on sale at Tommy Cheadle’s bar at Vale Park which is run by a catering company independent of the club.
Brewery Director Dave Bott said: “Both Titanic Brewery and Port Vale are organisations firmly rooted in our local community and we see this deal as a perfect match.
“Many Vale fans already enjoy a match day pint of locally produced ale at our Burslem pub, the Bulls Head, and sponsorship of the club is a great way for us to thank them for supporting their local brewery.
“It is also good to have our beer extensively on sale at Vale Park for the first time.”
