Four Experts in One Room – free advice available for North Staffordshire business professionals

North Staffordshire businesses are being given the chance to gain free advice from four experienced professional service practitioners.

The Four Experts in One Room event, on 18 November, has been organised by Richard Jacobs Pension and Trustee Services Ltd.

Company Director’s Kate Barnard and Emily Jacobs will be on hand to give advice at the event along with Joy Hancock, commercial property specialist at Grindeys Solictors, Jane Capewell, an independent HR consultant, and Chris Adams of JSW Insurance Services.

The event, at the Mitchell Arts Centre, Hanley (from 8.30am until 11am), will have a relaxed feel with the four experts available to talk to visitors rather than give formal presentations.

“Business events tend to be quite formal with speakers giving a presentation often backed by a Powerpoint presentation,” said Emily Jacobs. “But we felt it would be more beneficial to allow visitors to come and chat, gaining informal advice from one or each of the four experts in the room.”

Emily added: “We’d like to thank Joy, Jane and Chris for joining Richard Jacobs Pensions at the event. All three are experienced professionals who can give an insight into crucial areas which impact on all business people.

“We have been going through a period of fast paced change in pensions legislation with announcements in areas including when a pension can be taken, a relaxation on taking money out of your pension, a new freedom to pass on pensions at death, and the continuing impact of auto enrolment on employers.

“In addition to advice on the pension industry, our experts from law, HR and insurance will be able to provide up to the minute guidance to business people attending the event.”
