Makeover helps Beswicks Legal to grow at home and abroad
Law firm Beswicks are undergoing a major image makeover with the help of a Stoke-on-Trent based branding agency.
Beswicks Solicitors has been rebranded as Beswicks Legal, recognising the breadth of services on offer, the clarity brought by the high quality offering at Beswicks and the extension of the Beswicks’ brand, which includes Beswicks Sports a sports agency representing professional sportsmen and clubs.
A new logo and clean, crisp website is the first stage of the revamp and will be followed by remodelling work to create an inviting new reception area at the Beswicks Legal head office at Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent.
Trentham Lakes based agency Exesios BDD were chosen by Beswicks Legal to work on all aspects of the image makeover.
Exesios BDD Director Paul Brammer said: “When Beswicks came to us it quickly became clear that they had outgrown their previous branding and needed to reflect their status as a major law firm with interests both in the UK and abroad, especially the USA, where their sports business is strong.
“Discussions with a small project group from Beswicks and extensive research led to a business-like and minimalist approach. The design concept reflects a strong, established and confident company.
“From a design point of view, this was a fabulous project to work on as the use of photographs and images is minimal and we were challenged to use pure design techniques based on clean lines and classic, yet modern typographical fonts.”
Graham Neyt, Managing Partner at Beswicks Legal said: “We felt it was time for a change as we didn’t think our branding any longer reflected the breadth of services we offer to clients.
“We also took the view that most websites are cluttered with information that simply isn’t relevant to their users.
“We wanted our branding and website to reflect the clarity we deliver to our clients.”
Having previously worked successfully with Exesios BDD on the law firm’s sports business, Beswicks were impressed by the agency’s creativity and attention to detail.
“Working with Exesios BDD was a positive and invigorating process,” added Graham. “They challenged us in a positive way to articulate what we were looking to achieve and why and then came forward with creative concepts.
“We are delighted with the outcome and have had many positive comments from clients and colleagues.”
Work on remodelling the Beswicks office is set to begin in late autumn.
