Office move crowns a year of expansion for web developer

An expanding web development company is making a major move forward as it celebrates seven years in business.

Yellow Circle Web is taking an office at the Genesis Centre, in the Chatterley Valley, near Tunstall.

The move is part of a business expansion plan which has seen turnover double in a year and the employment of an apprentice web developer.

The move will give the company room for further expansion and allow Yellow Circle to expand its training offer, using the purpose built facilities at the venue.

Husband and wife team Ian and Kate Hazeldine set up business at their home in 2006, and moved to a small office in Etruria three years ago.

“We were able to build a business because we have complimentary skills,” said Kate. “Ian has always worked in web development and I had been a sales manager for large retail companies.

“This move reflects the expansion of the company. The value of projects we have been involved in has risen substantially year on year and we are now developing complex websites for major organisations.”

“Our development has been achieved with the help of Cheddleton based business coach John Capper. He helped us define our goals and build a strategy for year on year development.”

“The Genesis Centre has ideal access and parking and the offices will allow us to consider taking on extra staff and welcome visitors.”
