Simply Great Britain is a members’ organisation which champions and supports outstanding independent businesses across the UK .
Simply Great Britain founder Emily Whitehead, launched the Simply brand in Staffordshire and is now working with innovative independent businesses across the country.
“We hold regular meet ups and workshops to bring members together, offer support and encourage collaboration,” said Emily. “For our major summer event, we have teamed up with Beechenhill Farm. Set in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands countryside at Ilam, the farm offers an eco- friendly events venue and a range of high quality guest accommodation on a working farm.”
The summer lunch takes place on July 18 (12 noon – 2pm). If the weather is fine, lunch will be held outside.
To book a place, go online to www.simplygreatbritain.co.uk/events/summer-lunch-view. The summer lunch will be the last Simply Great Britain event before a short summer break. Events will begin again on September 19, with Simply Wine Tasting to be hosted by the Wolsey Wine Loft, at Woolsey Bridges, between Stafford and Rugeley.
Emily launched Simply Staffordshire in 2012 to champion and showcase the county’s best artisan and small businesses.
“There are many examples of members working together to build their businesses and promote their location and business sector,” said Emily.
The Simply Great Britain website is now live and Emily is recruiting businesses on the borders of Staffordshire and beyond to spread the Simply ethos to ‘make life beautiful’ through independent business and creativity.
