Exesios launch discovery workshops to help companies to spring forward

Innovative full service creative agency Exesios BDD are launching a series of Discovery Workshops to support companies looking to explore their company DNA before developing or revamping their brand identity.

The brand, design and digital specialists, based at the Denise Coates Foundation building, Keele University, says many companies make the error of employing a piece-meal approach to marketing their company.

Now Exesios has developed a new process to ensure companies are clear what they need to support the development of their brand.

Managing Director Paul Brammer said: “When you think of many of the best-known global brands, it’s clear they’ve thoroughly researched their ethos and values during the branding stage, but that’s not often the case with small and medium sized (SME) companies. Often, they take a piecemeal approach and, in the worst-case scenario, simply equate a brand with simply getting a logo designed.

“We’ve successfully worked with clients, such as Tamworth-based aesthetics pharmacy, Springpharm, to help them to develop a deeper understanding of what makes their company unique.

“Only when we have a thorough understanding, working in step with a client, can we provide a holistic marketing strategy to maximise brand exposure and generate new business.”

Paul said Exesios had put many hours of research into perfecting the Discovery Workshops and were now planning to offer them to a wider range of companies.

He added: “The process has been honed over many years. We bring our team together with a team from the company undertaking the workshop and facilitate a deep dive into what makes the company tick, using trigger questions. We encourage companies to bring along staff at all levels; not just the senior management team.”

Work on transforming Springpharm’s website and marketing material is ongoing.

Springpharm’s Marketing Manager, Katy Ison, said: “Before working with Exesios we engaged with individuals on marketing, for example, a graphic designer, a small team of web designers, exhibition stand designers, and more, but we felt that we needed to develop a more consistent brand and a more defined marketing strategy.

“It is clear that Exesios seek to provide a company with the whole branding and marketing package which is a different way of working than we had experienced previously.  The Discovery Workshop enabled the Exesios team to explore how our companies work and our vision for development in the future.

“It gave an excellent opportunity for our management team to take the time to discuss our core values as a company and how we saw the company progressing.

“Following the workshop, it was evident from the detailed initial report that Exesios had started to gain a good understanding of Springpharm as a brand and the various activities we engage in. They created a co-ordinated response to our needs, prioritising three key aspects to work on in terms of branding and marketing.

“The recommendations Exesios offered in their report also conveyed the extensive research they had undertaken into the marketplace and offered a comprehensive overview of how we could begin to improve on our branding and marketing.

“I’m now very much looking forward to seeing the completed rebranding work.”

Founded by Paul and Eleni Brammer more than two decades ago, Exesios has helped hundreds of businesses to stand out from the crowd. Their work embraces all business sectors and provides bespoke solution. For example, Exesios recently worked with Keele University to develop a dynamic user-friendly interface for a pharmacy training tool and developed a holistic new brand for West Kirby Grammar School.
