A North Staffordshire training company has gone global less than two years after being founded.
You Can Do It .Training won a major deal to deliver health and safety training globally to Unilode Aviation Solutions.
The company, based at the Bridge Centre, Birches Head, Stoke-on-Trent, were tasked with delivering health and safety training globally to more than 85 members of the Unilode team, in more than 15 different countries spanning an incredible 16 different time zones.
Jon Taylor, Managing Director, said: “In a piece of work that has been 12 months in the making. You Can Do It. Training worked with their leadership team to deliver the internationally recognised IOSH Managing Safety Course for its line managers and supervisors.”
The course covered six key areas:
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding responsibilities
- Understanding hazards
- Investigating incidents
- Measuring performance.
Jon added: “We were absolutely delighted to have been chosen to work with Unilode Aviation Solutions to deliver their IOSH training. As they’re a global company with colleagues working across the world it took a lot of work and discussion to organise delivering the courses logistically which added to the fun! We had to ensure the teams who needed training were available and were on the same global timeline which meant we were delivering courses starting 1:00am UK time.
